S. L. Boudreau was born and raised in Nova Scotia, Canada. From a young age, she has used her imagination and creativity to write short stories, poetry and journal entries. Being a young mother of two, she used to write stories and read them to her children at bedtime. Her dream has always been to publish a children's book. Growing up close to Oak Island and hearing about the history and mystery surrounding it, inspired The Oak Island Treasure Kids to come to life.
